Was the previous government involved in tapping the phones of film actresses? This burning question was directly posed by former IT minister KTR to the SIT police during his extensive 7-hour interrogation!
KTR, a prominent figure from the Telangana political scene, recently made an appearance before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) to cooperate with their ongoing probe into alleged phone tapping. The questioning took place at the Jubilee Hills station, and after nearly seven hours, KTR emerged to address the eager media.
Shortly after his departure from the police station, KTR held a press conference where he shared some rather intriguing insights. He revealed that he had directly inquired with the SIT officers about the veracity of rumors suggesting that the previous BRS government had tapped the phones of cinema heroines. "When I asked the team, if there’s any truth in the narrative that we tapped heroines phones, they said no. They said there is no truth in this narrative," KTR stated emphatically to the assembled journalists.
But here's where it gets even more interesting. KTR then shared a rather pointed question he posed to the police: are the phones of BRS leaders still being tapped even now? His account suggests the police were evasive. "The police said they don’t know if our phones are being tapped. But they did not confirm that these phones are not being tapped. I guess this answers my question," he remarked, implying a lack of clear denial from the authorities.
When questioned about whether he was investigated alongside A4, Radha Kishan Rao, KTR offered a playful, yet firm, response: "There was no other Rao in the investigation, except for Rama Rao." This statement clearly indicated his presence was in his own capacity as Rama Rao.
KTR's demeanor after the investigation was described as both confident and assertive. He made it abundantly clear that he has no personal involvement in the alleged phone tapping activities.
This whole situation certainly raises some eyebrows, doesn't it? The allegations of phone tapping, especially involving prominent figures and even film stars, can be quite a sensitive matter. KTR's direct questioning of the SIT and his subsequent statements to the media have certainly added a new layer to this unfolding story.
What do you think? Do you believe KTR's assertion that the heroines' phone tapping rumors are baseless? And what about his pointed question regarding the current tapping of BRS leaders' phones – does that raise your suspicions? Share your thoughts and let us know your take in the comments below!
